ISO 45001:2018 OH&S Kit · Hazard-to-Site System

Your client audits the site. Not the manual.

A complete OH&S management system for ISO 45001:2018 and its Amendment 1:2024, built around the work an auditor checks on site: permits to work, isolation, contractors and worker consultation. Start the hazard register from the Sector Hazard Library of your activity, score it in the OH&S Risk & Compliance Engine, and run the system with 26 SOPs and 26 forms with the same numbers.

Sound familiar?

A client or a tender asks for ISO 45001:2018. Then the auditor walks the site.

The manual on the shelf usually passes. What fails is what happens at the work front: the permit, the isolation, the contractor who started yesterday, the worker nobody asked. Here is where HSE managers of contractors and plants get caught:

"Show me the permit for that job"

Hot work, confined space, work at height, live electrical work. The auditor picks a job in progress and asks for the permit, the gas test, the isolation and who signed the handover at shift change. A permit book with blank fields is a finding on the spot.

"Who verified zero energy?"

Lockout/tagout is more than a padlock. Every energy source isolated, stored energy dissipated, the try-out done and recorded, a group lock when several crews work on the same machine. Without a record, it did not happen.

"How were the workers consulted?" (5.4)

Clause 5.4 separates what non-managerial workers are consulted on from what they participate in. Committee minutes with no agenda, no answers to the points raised and no feedback to the crews do not show either.

"This contractor started before approval"

Contractors are where sites get hurt and audits get lost: no OH&S criteria at selection, no induction, no permit, no supervision. ISO 45001:2018 asks you to control the hazards in three directions, and your client asks you for the same.

"What are your LTIFR and TRIFR?"

Clients and tenders ask for injury rates, hours worked and incidents investigated on time. Rates calculated by hand, on a different base each month, are rates nobody trusts.

"Procedures that read like a template"

An auditor reads your procedures as controlled documents of your organisation. Tips, commentary and "suggested" wording inside a procedure make it read like something nobody adopted.

From a manual on a shelf to controls on site.

Every line of the kit follows one thread: hazard → control → SOP → permit or record → indicator. A hazard in your register gets a control chosen by the hierarchy of controls, the SOP that sets how the work is done, the permit or record that proves it was done, and the indicator that tells management whether it works.

Follow the thread
  • Start from typical hazards of your sector, verified on your site
  • One risk method and one set of bands, applied to every line
  • One form per SOP, with the same number
The thread, hazard by hazard

Hazard → control → SOP → permit or record → indicator

This is what an auditor follows on a site walk, and what the kit is organised around. A few of the hazards that decide most audits:

The hazard column starts in the Sector Hazard Library and lands in the HIRA Register of the Engine. Where a High risk would be controlled by PPE only, the Engine flags it: that needs a justification approved by the OH&S Manager before the task starts (SOP-OHS-010, step 6.2.4).

Two situations, one kit

Building the system for a client, or fixing what fails on site

Both paths use the same SOPs, forms and Engine. The SOP Implementation Guide gives, for every SOP, the first-time adoption and how to update a procedure you already have.

Path 1 · A client or tender requires ISO 45001:2018No OH&S management system yet

Build the whole system once, from context and worker consultation to incident investigation and management review.

  • Adopt the SOPs in the order set by the SOP Implementation Guide
  • Start the hazard register from the library of your sector
  • Record legal and other requirements, risks and opportunities in the Engine
  • Answer the client’s HSE prequalification questionnaire with the Contractor Prequalification Answer Map
  • Induct workers, contractors and visitors with the OH&S Induction Deck
Path 2 · The manual exists, the site failsA system on paper, weak controls in the field

Keep the documents that work and replace the ones that read like a template.

  • Put the 9 critical risk SOPs in place, each with its permit, certificate or register
  • Run the General Permit to Work with the certificates attached
  • Brief the crews with the 24 Five-Minute Toolbox Talks
  • Audit the field questions of the Internal Audit Checklist (ISO 45001:2018)
  • Move your registers into the Engine, or keep yours

The SOP format

Controlled documents, not commentary

Each SOP reads as a procedure your organisation has approved. All the explanation lives in the SOP Implementation Guide, so nothing in a procedure talks to the person who bought the kit.

The structure of a controlled document

Purpose, scope, references, definitions, responsibilities, numbered procedure steps, records, performance monitoring and revision history, with an approval block on page 1 and, in most SOPs, a process flow summary in Appendix A.

Parameters you decide

Values in square brackets, such as [12] hours or [14] calendar days, are parameters with a sound default. Set the value your organisation commits to, then approve the SOP under your document control. The Implementation Guide lists every parameter.

One form per SOP, same number

SOP-OHS-020 asks for FOR-OHS-020, and it is in the kit. The certificates of SOP-OHS-019 to SOP-OHS-023 are attached to the General Permit to Work (FOR-OHS-018).

One stop-work rule

The authority to stop work and the right to withdraw from imminent and serious danger are set once, in SOP-OHS-002, and the permit SOPs, the induction and every toolbox talk refer back to it.

100% editable files

Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and one PowerPoint deck (.pptx). No passwords, no macros. All 65 files carry a [COMPANY LOGO] field for your brand.

International English, any country

Neutral English with British spelling and no country’s law built in. Where legislation matters, the documents refer to the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Built for

Who this kit is for, and who it is not for

Written in neutral international English for HSE managers of contractors and plants in India, the Gulf, Africa, South-East Asia and Latin America, who must put ISO 45001:2018 in place because a client or a tender requires it.

HSE managers at contractors

Construction, oil and gas, maintenance and industrial services. The client asks for ISO 45001:2018 in the contract or the prequalification, and the site walk decides whether you keep the work.

HSE managers at plants

Manufacturing, food and beverage, logistics and warehousing. You need a system that works on the shop floor as well as in the audit room, including your contractors.

Quality or IMS coordinators adding OH&S

You already run ISO 9001 or another ISO management system, and now health and safety lands on your desk. The IMS Integration Map shows what the systems share and what stays specific to OH&S.

Not for you if you want it done for you

This is a document kit, not consulting. If you need someone on site to implement the system, or a course with a certificate, this is not the right purchase.

Not for you if you need a ready legal register

The kit contains no country’s laws. It gives you the procedure and the register to identify and evaluate your legal and other requirements; the content of that register is yours.

ISO and HSE consultants

A repeatable structure for several clients. Delivering to more than one organisation? Contact us about a consultant licence before you buy.

How it works

The order the Start Here guide gives you

After payment you receive the ZIP with the 65 files and the Start Here guide as a separate PDF. Then:

1

Read the Implementation Guide

For each procedure: what the standard requires, the parameters to set, what to tailor and the records that demonstrate conformity. It sets the order of adoption.

2

Set the foundations

Document control (SOP-OHS-009), context and scope (SOP-OHS-001), leadership, policy and the stop-work authority (SOP-OHS-002), and worker consultation (SOP-OHS-003).

3

Identify your hazards

Copy the lines of your sector's library into the HIRA Register, check each one on site with the Task Hazard Identification Worksheet (FOR-OHS-004) and score it.

4

Requirements, risks and people

Record legal and other requirements, other risks and opportunities and psychosocial risks, set objectives, then organise competence, communication and contractors (SOP-OHS-005 to SOP-OHS-008, SOP-OHS-012 and SOP-OHS-026).

5

Put the site controls in place

Operational control, management of change, the permit-to-work system and the critical risk SOPs, each with its permit, certificate or register, and the emergency arrangements. Brief the crews with the induction deck and the toolbox talks.

6

Check and improve

Monitoring and injury rates, internal audit, management review and incident investigation (SOP-OHS-014 to SOP-OHS-017). Answering a client's questionnaire? Open the Contractor Prequalification Answer Map.

Clear before you buy

What the kit does, and what it does not do

What it doesDocuments, registers, method
  • Gives you a complete set of editable OH&S documents for ISO 45001:2018 and its Amendment 1:2024
  • Gives you a starting list of typical hazards for six sectors, to verify on your site
  • Keeps the four central registers in one workbook, with your risk method applied
  • Links each critical risk to its SOP, its permit or record and its indicator
What it does not doSaid plainly
  • It does not include the text of ISO 45001:2018, which is sold by ISO and by national standards bodies
  • It does not include the OH&S laws of your country
  • It does not score your hazards for you: the scores are yours to decide
  • It does not guarantee certification or any audit result, and does not include free future updates

Who built this

Built by someone who works inside management systems

This kit was written to be applied on site, not admired on a shelf: each SOP states what is done, who does it and what is recorded, and each critical risk ends in a permit, a certificate or a register that someone signs.

Where you need the wording of a requirement, the kit sends you to your own copy of the standard, and where the law of your country matters, it sends you to your legal register. Nothing in it is tied to one country.

The promise is simple: from the hazard to the site, in one system, with total freedom to adapt every file.

The brand behind the kit

Judged on its files, not on manufactured praise

This is a new kit, so there are no reviews of it yet, and you will not find invented ones here. You get the files, a named guarantee and a 7-day refund that lets the material speak for itself.

Honest answers

The questions buyers actually ask.

Which edition is the kit written for?
ISO 45001:2018 and its Amendment 1:2024, which added climate change to clauses 4.1 and 4.2. This is the edition used for certification today. ISO 45001:2018 is under revision: a new edition is not expected before 2027 and will come with a transition period. Confirm the dates with your certification body.
Will I receive the new edition free when it comes out?
No. The kit is sold as it is today, written for ISO 45001:2018 and its Amendment 1:2024. Free future updates are not part of the offer, and we prefer to say so before you buy.
Does it include the text of ISO 45001:2018?
No, it is sold by ISO and by national standards bodies, so keep your own copy at hand. The kit gives you the procedures, the forms, the registers and the guides to apply the requirements. It does not reproduce the text of the standard.
Does it include my country’s OH&S laws?
No. SOP-OHS-005 tells you how to identify your legal and other requirements: statutory and regulatory requirements, permits and licences, authority orders, collective agreements, customer and contract requirements and voluntary commitments. You record them in the Legal Register of the Engine and evaluate compliance with the same SOP.
Is it a course?
No. It is a set of editable Word, Excel and PowerPoint files that become your OH&S documentation. There are no videos and no certificate of completion.
Does the kit guarantee certification or that we pass the client’s audit?
No, and nobody can honestly promise that. The result depends on how your organisation implements and follows its system, on site. What the kit gives you is the documented procedures, the permits, the records and the registers to show it.
What formats are the files in? Are they really editable?
Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and one PowerPoint deck (.pptx), with no PDF inside the ZIP. Every file is editable in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or LibreOffice): no passwords, no macros, and all 65 files carry a [COMPANY LOGO] field. The Start Here guide comes as a separate PDF so you can read it on any device.
Our client sent an HSE prequalification questionnaire. Does the kit help?
Yes. The Contractor Prequalification Answer Map lists typical client HSE prequalification questions by area, and each one points to the SOP, form or Engine tab that answers it. You record your evidence and status, and the sheet gives your readiness by area and overall.
My sector is not one of the six libraries. Does it still work?
Start from the library closest to your activity, then add your own lines with the Task Hazard Identification Worksheet (FOR-OHS-004). The libraries are a starting point to verify on your site; the scores are yours to decide.
We already run other ISO management systems. Can they be integrated with OH&S?
Yes. The bonus IMS Integration Map: ISO 9001, ISO 14001:2026 and ISO 45001:2018 shows what an integrated system shares, what stays specific to OH&S, and how to merge procedures, audits and the management review.
Is there implementation support or consulting?
No. This is a document kit, not a consulting service. E-mail support covers access to the files and any file that does not open correctly. The Start Here guide and the SOP Implementation Guide give you the order to work in.
What currency do I pay in, and how?
Price in US dollars; Hotmart converts it to your local currency at checkout. You can pay by card or with the other payment methods Hotmart shows at checkout for your country. It is a single one-time payment of US$ 59: the files are yours to keep and there is no subscription.
Can I use it with several consulting clients?
The standard licence is for internal use in one organisation. If you are a consultant planning to deliver the documents to several clients, contact us before purchase and we can arrange a consultant licence.
What if it does not work for me?
Ask for a refund through Hotmart within 7 days of purchase and you get your money back, with no questions asked. That is the First Hazard Register Guarantee: follow the Start Here guide, and if you cannot build the first version of your hazard register with the library of your sector, you do not pay.

Your hazard register can start this week. Not from a blank sheet.

You can write every procedure, permit, register and form on your own, or start from the library of your sector, with the Engine, the 26 SOPs, the 26 forms, the toolbox talks and the guides already in place: 65 editable files, downloaded in minutes.
